Did You Guys See That Year Go By?

A year ago I left the world's oldest international auction house for the last time and embarked on a new job. Not sure if I'm calculating this correctly, but I think I've saved 25 days' worth of commuting time. Which would explain why my kids look so much older; I've jumped ahead a month!

With a bit of a mind flip
You're there in the time slip
And nothing can ever be the same.

Every year is getting shorter;
Never seem to find the time.
Plans that either come to naught --
Or half a page of scribbled lines.

Thought I'd something more to say. . .

Is this Blog Comment Poetry Month? I think I'm missing out on something.

Ok, I'm game...

There was a young man named Bill
Who got tired of working the same old drill
He waved goodbye to Sotheby's
And headed towards the Tappan Zee(s)
And now he's got time to kill.
