Even at age 12 I couldn't go twice round the school's quarter-mile track, even at a jog, without being unable to breathe. At 70 pounds overweight and 38 years later, I somehow think I never will be able to. But I do run in my dreams and it feels wonderful.
cjAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4454946892443304749.post-74582825290732526702007-08-28T01:15:00.000-04:002007-08-28T01:15:00.000-04:00Ahhhhh, Bill - your stories are inspiring. Different state (CO), different weather (HOT), different nutritional/diet goals (anything but sugar and fat) - but the same delightful goals. Freedom, medium-large garb, views, and fresh air.

Thanks Bill, keep it up.

DaveBDave T Butlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17459222017966934836noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4454946892443304749.post-13979921627048890882007-08-22T20:31:00.000-04:002007-08-22T20:31:00.000-04:00Thanks Molly. Since I'm no longer at the point where I can excuse my condition as post-partum (my youngest is 3), I've begun again over the past few weeks. Our 'hood is no Central Park loop, and boy, does 20 minutes kick my ass. But there's nothing like it. Congrats on sticking with it for so long.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4454946892443304749.post-30849602475905705242007-08-21T02:38:00.000-04:002007-08-21T02:38:00.000-04:00See Bill run.
